Let’s Celebrate Our Bus Drivers! Bus Driver Appreciation Week (October 19–23)
Dear East Laurens Families,
October 19–23 is Bus Driver Appreciation Week!
Our bus drivers are often the very first and last school staff members our students see each day. Rain or shine, early mornings and late afternoons, they are steadfastly dedicated to getting our children to and from school safely. Their commitment to student safety, warm smiles, and daily care mean the world to our school community.
We would love your help in making this week special for our amazing drivers! Here are a few ways you and your student can show your gratitude:
Handwritten Notes & Cards: A simple, heartfelt note or drawing from your child saying "Thank you for keeping me safe!"
Thank-You Gifts & Treats: Such as a favorite snack, a warm beverage gift card, or a small gift.
A Warm Smile & Greeting: A cheerful "Thank you!" when boarding or stepping off the bus goes a long way!
Let’s come together to show our East Side bus drivers just how much they are valued and appreciated.
Thank you for your support and partnership!
Warm regards,
East Laurens High School Administration
