🌟 Communities In Schools (CIS) at East Laurens High School 🌟

Hi! I’m Monique Lewis, the ELHS CIS Site Coordinator. CIS is here to help students overcome barriers and be successful in school and beyond.
We support students with their ABCs — Attendance, Behavior, and Coursework — while also helping with needs outside the classroom.
CIS can provide:

📚 Academic support and mentoring
💙 One-on-one student support
👨‍👩‍👧 Family support and community resources
🎉 Incentives and activities that encourage attendance, positive behavior, and academic success
🧥 Help connecting families with resources for needs such as food, clothing, and other assistance

Our goal is simple: surround students with support so they can stay in school, succeed, and prepare for their future! 💙
