Biography

University of Georgia - B. S. Ed in Spanish in 1975.
Georgia College and State University - Instructional Technology

Grew up in Dexter, Georgia. My parents are Roy and Sarah Malone.
Part of the 1st graduating class of West Laurens High School in 1972.
To Middle Georgia College (A. A. in 1974)
University of Georgia - B. S. Ed in Spanish in 1975.
Taught Spanish at East and West Laurens in 1975-1976. Long time ago!
Took a group of 4 Laurens County students to Spain to study for 6 weeks during the summer of 1976.
Back to UGA to do all the course work for a Masters in Spanish. Never did the thesis. Wasted that degree! But a great time. I was the UGA exchange student to the University of Seville, Spain where I taught English for a year.
Got married and moved to Fort Valley in Peach County.
Taught Spanish at Peach County High for maaany years.
Back to school for the Masters degree in Instructional Technology...so I could be a high school media specialist.
Worked as a media specialist for maaany years in Peach County.
After our 3 children moved away, I moved back to Dexter with my husband.
Taught Spanish for 3 years at East then West Laurens.
Now, I'm a media specialist again - at East Laurens High School.
About to be a grandmother for the first time! Just call me Gigi...for Grandma Gail.
